Registered Nurse / RN - Hemodialysis WPOD 

Shift: PRN / Per Diem 

Rate: 

• PRN II - $40.00/hr  (Minimum 4 - 12hr shift in a 4 week period and 1-2 calls, 1 of the calls must be a weekend call)
• PRN III - $45.00/hr  (Minimum 8 - 12hr shift in a 4 week period and 2-3 calls, 1 of the calls must be a weekend call)

Location: Division Float Pool - EPOD (Alliance, Arlington, Las Colinas, North Hills)

Job Summary and Qualifications

 Utilizing the standards of care set forth by the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the Registered Nurse (RN) in hemodialysis will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will fall within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act and will include individualized, holistic, supportive and safe care for the adult and geriatric patient population requiring hemodialysis. The RN maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare (MCH).

 Education and Experience:

•  ADN required
•  BSN preferred. Must sign agreement that BSN required within 24 months of hire date
• 3 years’ experience in Dialysis
  

 Certifications, Licensures, Credentials:

•  Licensed RN in the state of Texas required (Compact License is accepted; however, must obtained RN License in the State of Texas within the first 90 days)
