Warehouse Operations Manager

Rooms to Go is hiring an Operations Manager. This role will be located in a Distribution Center/Warehouse setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategically manage operations within the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
• Supervises and motivates teams of employees, overseeing multiple departments
• Manage reports, statistical analysis, and P&L reporting
• Communicates with various levels of management and customers to ensure that customer expectations are met and issues are resolved, including turnaround time
• Provide continual process improvements as well as implementation of new processes
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Essential Requirements

• B.A. Degree and/or 4 years of management experience over multiple departments and shifts in a warehouse environment, high volume distribution preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including security procedures, improve loss-control programs, refining process control
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to calculate, analyze & apply business, financial & statistical data
• Proven leadership, team building and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others
• Strong computer skills, technical background is a plus
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
