We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for ensuring finished instruments and accessories conform to specified requirements using established engineering/quality procedures and quality control principles.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for ensuring finished products and records (Device History Records) meet all requirements prior to release.
  • Perform dimensional inspection of incoming instrument components per direction of pre-defined inspection plans (use appropriate hand gages, fixtures and CMM)
  • Record quality data, including summarization of records of conformance and/or non-conformance, into the applicable database.
  • Audit manufacturing cells to ensure compliance to applicable Beckman Quality Management System requirements.
  • Clearly communicate and/or escalate identified concerns or opportunities for improvement to cross-functional team members and management.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • High School Diploma / Equivalent with 5+ years of quality control/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend part prints with at least a basic understanding of GD&T
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gages, surface plate and height stand, and other traditional inspection tools

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in biomedical research instrument or medical device manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and/or ISO 13485
  • Experience working with a CMM for inspection.

The hourly range for this role is $24.00 - $29.00 $/hour (USD) . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
