Eaton's Power Distribution Control & Assemblies division is currently seeking a MRO Buyer. This role will be located out of El Paso, TX.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $49,920 - $73,216 a year.

The mayor responsibility is to obtain goods and or services for the site following the Eaton procedure to quote, seek approvals and proceed placing the orders. This person will be responsible to purchase all the indirect purchases for the site and administrate them, making sure the good and or service is executed in a proper matter. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, the ability to build strong supplier relationships, and a thorough understanding of MRO purchasing processes.

What you'll do:

  • PO placement, administrate, expedite, reschedule purchase order according customer needs.
  • Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly.
  • Support Supply Chain Corporate metrics and goals.
  • Work with operations and finance on capital request PO's
  • Owner ship mentality to anticipate to a potential impact related to purchase material.
  • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential suppliers to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in cross-functional teams and contributing to process optimization projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish / English
  • One (1) year of experience performing purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment.
