Description:Be an Engineering Aide supporting TLS programs, providing engineering support needs to the manufacturing and testing area as well as coaching line operators and assemblers, and actively collaborating with both the various TLS Program Integrated Production Teams, Operation Excellence Teams (OETs), and Corrective Action Boards (CABs). This position is responsible for quality engineering support needs of the TLS products which includes: Defect verifications, defect investigations, collaborations with manufacturing engineering and production control for dispositions, non-conforming material movement, documentation creation regarding non conformances (ex. Scrap manifests), manufacturing process auditing, trend analysis, calibrated tool custodianship, and administrative inventory of non-conformance related equipment (ex. Red Tags). The role will include performing inspections as needed. In addition, the assistance and support of audits of processes and procedures to ensure factory and program compliance with command media, local guidance, and industry standards. This position will help drive continuous improvement through the active participation in OET, champion RCCA of defects to prevent recurrence and to collaborate with the preventative actions.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Quality best practices.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001.
• Proficient with common inspections tools and equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform Repair and Rework Inspections.
• Ability to perform In-Process Manufacturing Inspections.
• Detail-oriented and proficient at understanding drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions
• A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Ability to interface effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, Customers, and management when resolving quality issues.
• Experienced with Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience with the Nonconformance life cycle through active engagement with relevant parties (Depot, Operations, Supply chain, Lab management, Test, System engineering, and Software Engineering).
• Experienced with auditing manufacturing processes.
Desired Skills:
• College Degree or more than 3 years of Quality Inspection experience.
• Experienced with active OET participation and engagement to drive continuous
improvement.
• Experienced in working with data and trend analysis.
• Experience following the detailed Inspection plan from the program QE
• Experiencing assisting QE with review of all non-conforming material on the program non-conforming rack for accuracy and status
• Experience performing FAI measurements and providing FAI data to QE for completion.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
