Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Assistant who will provide daily support in accounting tasks. This is a part-time contract position located in Kingsburg, California.
Your responsibilities in this role
-Answering multi-line phones -Greeting customers/vendors who come in -Record minutes during various meetings -Data Entry into Construction accounting software -Data Entry of crew schedules -Completing Purchase Orders -Assistance with invoicing and AR follow-ups -Processing documents for corporate clients -Making updates in various web-based applications -Sending confirmation emails/making phone calls to clients -Verify information received from crews -Friendly Communication with various peers and departments -Organize correspondence and follow-up on pending matters- Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Prior bookkeeping experience desired
