Special Education Teacher Needed Now in Montrose, CO

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SPED for end of school year. You will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, providing instruction, and ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive a high-quality education.

Location: Montrose, CO

Caseload: K 12

Start/End: ASAP August 5th May 23rd

Full time 32.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field
• Valid Colorado Licensure
• Teaching License for Special Education
• Experience working with diverse learners and students with disabilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities/Details:

1. Provide instruction in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies
2. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education
3. Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed
4. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for home practice
