Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Are you a Special Education Teacher wanting a change of scenery for the 2024-2025schoolyear? We have a full-time position with a school district located in a tight-knit community. You would be dealing with a K-12th grade caseload. Please reach out to me if you are or somebody you know is interested in this position after scanning through the details below!

- Onsite near the Broadway, Virginia area
- Start in August
- # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Valid state(VA)teaching certification/license in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
