Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Location: Beaufort, SC

We are actively seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time position within schools located in the Beaufort, SC area. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential services to students, helping them achieve their developmental goals and maximizing their potential.

Requirements:

• Must meet all local and state requirements for Occupational Therapists.
• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of South Carolina.
• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' motor skills, coordination, and independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and functional success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input and support for students' educational goals.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of occupational therapy.
