Job description
Local Insurance company is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our Claims Department. This is an entry level position, working in our corporate office in Franklin TN supporting internal staff and external customers in the Claims process.
Essential Responsibilities
• Assist internal Claims staff and external customers with expediting their needs in the Claims process
• Create reports through Excel for management
• Assist management with all project and special requests
• Handles Concierge level functions for select agencies
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Communicate effectively and professionally in writing, by telephone, or in person.
• Must be able to deal with confidential information and meet strict deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and be able to multi-task in order to complete work within the 40 hour work week
• Consistent attention to detail and data resolution
• Must be able to foster and maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, AS400, OnBase systems, and Cisco phone systems
• Proficient typing skills
Qualification Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29,577.60 - $36,961.00 per year/$14.25-$17.76 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift

• High school or equivalent (Required)
