As a Full-Time School-Based Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values inclusivity, support, and personalized education.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification)
- New Hampshire Department of Education certification for School Sign Language Interpreters
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
