CORPORATE STAFF ACCOUNTANT

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Company' Corporate Staff Accountant is responsible for performing general ledger reconciliations for Company and other related companies along with maintaining and entering corporate level journal entries.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs general ledger reconciliations for certain accounts/companies
Reconciles bank and investment accounts
Enters and updates corporate related journal entries
Maintain fixed asset records
Update monthly reconciliations
Update leasing software with new/expired leases
Interim financial statement preparation for related companies
Prepare analysis of monthly budget to actual reports
Assist with year-end external audit and tax returns
Respond to questions and assist with research as required.
Special projects and analysis upon request
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3+ years of work experience in Financial Accounting department
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
High degree of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Construction experience a plus but not required
Direct Hire w/ Full Benefits Package
