Special Education Teacher - Wadesboro, NC
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in Wadesboro, NC. As a contracted Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs, working in collaboration with a supportive educational community. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of students while enjoying the benefits of a contracted role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning abilities.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to address different learning styles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid StateTeaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement.
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Contract Details:
- Contracted position through ProCare Therapy.
