Schedule: 185 days (5 days/week, 7.5 hours/day), Onsite

School: Tower School - Wayne, NE

Student Caseload: 10 students ages 7-16

Pay: $35-38/hour

Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Pender, Nebraska area. This position offers an opportunity to work with students who are significantly impacted by their disabilities at Tower School in Wayne, NE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students across various subjects and skill areas.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and acmodations to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with other special education staff, general education teachers, and related service providers to ensure that students receive prehensive support.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instruction as needed to facilitate growth and achievement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Nebraska teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with significant disabilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent munication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
