As our Software Product Owner, you'll support HID's success by:

  • Developing a business strategy applicable to solutions which surround the credential issuance space.
  • Managing Market Requirements ensuring their refinement and continuous assessment with the Engineering delivery team.
  • Defining and building a global roadmap based on key market trends and compelling opportunities that differentiates HID Global leader in the credential issuance market, establishing key KPI's to drive the business.
  • Providing leadership in creating technology strategies based on well-defined best practices, processes, training, sales, and support.
  • Understanding how to interpret analytical data and apply it to strategic and tactical plans.
  • Conducting regular meetings with sales management and marketing counterparts to discuss and track progress on business and marketing plans and any open issues.
  • Working with Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Bid Management and Professional Services teams to ensure that HID Global is addressing all enablement needs of the integration partners.
  • Coordinating, scheduling and planning product releases with a cross functional team.
  • Serving as a leader for the success of credential issuance software solution such as HID FARGO Connect and Asure ID within the company, while collaborating with other HID business units to ensure can bring value to other vertical markets
  • Participating and contributing to ISO standards, protecting HID's investment and IP.
  • Representing HID Global as product expert at industry, channel, supplier and customer events.
  • Be the face to market, participating and presenting specific products in industry events, trade shows, speaking engagements, external partner events, and internal sales meetings.

YourExperienceand Education include:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA and MS preferred)
  • Ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years' experience
  • Have strong expertise in at least one of the following: card issuance, digital ID, cloud solutions, and big data
  • Ability to understand both the business and technical side of corporate, education, and healthcare markets
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering product strategy and innovation resulting in market introduction, adoption and significant first year revenue streams
  • Experience in Public knowledge on HID solutions, Smart card knowledge (iCLASS, DESFire, and Seos), familiarity with related information security standards & voice of customer highly advantageous
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Travel may be required outside of the USA, so the applicant must have, or be able to obtain, a valid passport with no restrictions.
