POSITION SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, provides strategic direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales services and support to clients/customers. Liaises between customers and manufacturing, sales, field service, order processing and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries.
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., Just in Time purchases, use of EOQ - Economic Order Quantities). Resolves discrepancies. Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
Directs and coordinates the processing of sales orders. Monitors sales order system to ensure accurate receipt and booking of sales orders. Tracks sales shipment, delivery, billing and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when necessary. Responds to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolves customer order difficulties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Directs and coordinates the processing of Non-Strategic & Non-North American account & Non Ebara orders.
- Tracks sales shipment, delivery, billing and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when necessary. Responds to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolves customer order difficulties. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales plan based on forecast.
- Create or modify departmental procedures
- Interfaces with Customers, Field Service, Sales, and other internal departments.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Eight (8) or more years of related experience preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of Purchasing Methods, Ethics, Vendor Management, Materials Planning, Scheduling and Purchasing, Factory Capacity Estimating, Efficiency Tracking, and Supply Line Management. Working knowledge of Planning Process.
- Strong Customer Relations skills.
