Schedule : Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm
Wage: $ 90,000 - $105,000/Annual Salary
Sign on Bonus: $15,000, paid out over 3 years

Position Summary:
The Associate Director position will provide effective leadership of programs that engage and support volunteers including Senior Services, PREPARES, and St. Vincent Center. The Associate Director will supervise and coach, implement innovative team approaches, oversee budget development, manage volunteer marketing/outreach, and Strategic Planning within each service area. Responsible for implementing the volunteer procedures and policies and ensuring consistent onboarding procedures and background checks are followed for all volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Develop an overall plan and vision for volunteer recruitment and integration consistent with the mission of Catholic Charities, Strategic Plan and
- Develop effective marketing strategies for client and volunteer outreach and recruitment
- Develop achievable and measurable goals for each program
- Participate in Greater Leadership Team and work collaboratively with other organization leaders to fulfill the mission of Catholic Charities
Oversee recruitment of volunteers with diverse skills and backgrounds, develop effective training and support of all agency volunteers
- Develop and implement successful strategies with the Volunteer Recruitment Manager for volunteer recruitment in each program
- Oversee the development and implementation of volunteer retention and appreciation activities
Integrate volunteers with Catholic Charities programs and develop successful community-based partnerships
- Use volunteers effectively in the program best matched with the skill set of the volunteer
- Ensure volunteers have working knowledge of other Catholic Charities services which may be resources to clients served
- Oversee applications for Americorp, Jesuit Volunteers, and other volunteer organizations
- Develop key partnerships with organizations supporting volunteers and volunteer development
Provide contract oversight and pursue new contracts to expand and support the mission of Catholic Charities
- Work with Grants and Data Specialist to ensure Senior Corp contract applications are submitted timely
- Continue to pursue additional funding opportunities in concert with the Grants and Data Specialist and team
Develop and manage program budgets for all designated programs.
- Ensure budget resubmission for Senior Corp programs are completed
- Manage funds for volunteer recruitment, appreciation and retention
Manage data collection in all volunteer programs and ensure reports are submitted timely
- Submit data for CCUSA report
- Work with team to collect hours of volunteer involvement by program
- Implement effective ways to set productivity goals and monitor program deliverables
Hire and supervise designated staff, establish and monitor performance goals, and complete annual evaluations
Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, as well as keyboard fingering, talking, hearing and adequate vision on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time.
Non-Physical Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in social service, administration, business, or related field
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in senior leadership demonstrating progressive program, personnel, and volunteer development
Special Skills
- Excellent management and leadership with diverse teams
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in a written correspondence
- Ability to successfully supervise programs
- Ability to successfully manage grants and contracts
- Ability to complete complex reports
- Ability to support the development and management of budgets
- Computer literacy and experience with data reports
Licensure, Registration, Certification
- Valid Washington State driver's license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State
- Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
