Your Job

The purpose of the Quality Auditor is to support the Quality Department by following quality assurance practices to ensure that quality parts are being produced in the safest way.

What You Will Do

• Understand and follow documented safe work practices.

• Ensure quality parts are being sent to our internal and external customers.

• Promote and exemplify our PBM Guiding Principles.
  • Ability to use Quality check tools, including but not limited to calipers, dial indicators, digital indicators, micrometers, gap gauges, pin gauges, flushness gauges, etc.
  • Willing to work in a production role during slow launch times.
  • Familiar with visual inspection requirements as applicable to each department.

• Responsible for following all environmental policies, procedures, work instructions and requirements applicable to his or her work, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.

• Responsible for immediately reporting to management all environmental concerns related to work being carried out, as well as, all incidents, which present a hazard to people, production, or the environment.

• Willing to work overtime, even on short notice.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but is not required.

Language skills: Ability to read and write in English. Ability to follow both written and spoken instructions. Ability to communicate with specialists, other floor techs, supervisors, engineers, and managers.

Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations.

Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee will be required to lift up to 10 - 50 lbs. consistently on a daily basis.
