Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience CNC machines and mechanical tools
Requirements and Certifications
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift truck experience is a plus
- Demonstrate mathematical skills such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Able to read, write and understand work instructions and visual drawings
- Demonstrate strong attention to details
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Must be able to communicate in English
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain machine, tooling, and parts in optimal production condition.
- Work safely, following all safety regulations, to prevent injuries.
- Meet production requirements as defined on product routing and notify supervisor immediately if goal cannot be attained.
- Observe machine observations to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper.
- Inspect work pieces throughout the production run, for out-of-tolerance machining and record all required readings.
- Work as a team to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and perform quality assurance checks of the work being performed.
- Ensure machine is running correctly to prevent damage to the machine or tooling.
