Title: Environmental, Health, & Safety Coordinator
Location: Shelbyville, IN 46176
Salary: $78,000-$90,000 (+ROA bonus and profit sharing)
Duration: Permanent Direct Hire
Schedule: M-F, 6:45am-4pm
Overview:
Insight Global is looking for a health, safety, and environmental coordinator to support one of our largest manufacturing clients. This individual will help set the EHS guidelines of the industry standard and create all initiatives for the plant.
Day to Day:
- Reviewing open HSE cases for the location
- OSHA reporting, auditing, training, and improvement
- Review and implement new safety, health, and environmental policies
- Communicating all rules and regulations with team members
- Emergency response on call 24/7
- 25% traveling for cross training at other company locations
Must Haves:
- 2 years of professional experience
- Experience working with federal/state safety guidelines
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, or other regulatory standards
- Proficient in Microsoft office
Plusses
- Steel industry experience
- Bachelors in EHS or related program
