Duration: 12 Months
Shift Schedule: 40 hrs / week (Sunday through Saturday) Rotational shifts
Start Date: June 2024
Job Description: The Medical Support Assistant (MSA) will be responsible for providing administrative support in our healthcare facility. This role involves managing patient interactions, handling clerical tasks, and ensuring efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and visitors, manage patient registration and scheduling.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and handling correspondence.
Maintain electronic health records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Liaise effectively between patients, medical staff, and external parties.
Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure maintenance of office equipment.
Provide general support in billing and insurance form assistance.
Qualification:
Education: Medical Assistant Diploma
Certifications: CMA, BLS / CPR / AED
Experience: Must have At least 1+year of direct patient care experience within the last 2 years.
