Hours available: Hiring on all shifts!

  • 1st shift: 7:45am-3:45pm
  • 2nd shift: 3:45pm-11:45pm
  • 3rd shift: 11:45pm-7:45am

Job Summary:

Sets up, adjusts, and efficiently operates printing machines and prepares items processed for the next routing step. Ensures that only products meeting company standards are passed onto the next step or packaged to ship to our customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Measures, centers, aligns and positions machines for proper operation
  • Ensures correct temperature and press time adjustments reflect the needs of the each order
  • Examines product for properly cut transfers, position of design or other defects then adjusts equipment accordingly
  • Ensures that the proper supplies (both bill of Material and non-Bill of Material items) are being used for printing
  • Reads and follows Manufacturing Orders to make sure orders are printed according to specifications (quality, accuracy and layout)
  • Changes tooling to accommodate the product to be printed
  • Monitors pre-treatment process for proper adhesion
  • Monitors automatic feeding systems for maximum output
  • May package product for shipping, making sure proper box size and packing procedures are followed and ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are packed to ship to our customers
  • Completes system reporting and necessary daily paperwork as instructed, including production log of quantity produced, scrap and related information
  • Performs preventive maintenance duties, such as daily cleaning and lubricating.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with other associates
  • Maintains a clean and neat work area
  • Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross training and helping other departments consistent with business needs
  • Performs duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Occasionally mixes ink for printing orders
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor/management

Qualifications/Skills:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions, perform basic math functions, and make adjustments to machines and tools.
  • Any prior experience within manufacturing, machine operator, production associate, maintenance, technician, production, shipping, packaging, general labor, construction, landscaping, cleaning,
  • Comfortable with frequent use of hands tools, and foot pedals.
  • Comfortable with standing for long periods of time.
