Position Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary: $13 per hour
Job Description:
As an Office Assistant at a local client's company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Assist in managing and organizing office files and documents
- Small collection work
- Perform general clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and common areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years of relevant office experience OR a 2-year associate degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Legal Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year associates degree
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles
Dress Code:
Business casual attire is required.
