Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is searching for a full-time Accounts Receivable Manager on its Minot, ND campus.

Pay: $25 to $32+, DOE, plus benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; hybrid opportunities also available

What You Will Do:

As a Accounts Receivable Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the organization by overseeing the accounts receivable department and cash collection while maintaining positive relationships with customers by ensuring timely and accurate billing. This position involves managing the medical billing process, monitoring outstanding accounts, coordinating collections efforts, and ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions.


Purpose:

You ensure accurate and timely financial results in a respectful and confidential manner

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts
  • Implement and oversee collections strategies to minimize outstanding balances.
  • Monitor cash collection, credit card billing, and patient payment plans.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections performance, and cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations between accounts receivable and accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and motivate the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support, as needed
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

  • Ensure that patients receive accurate and timely billing for services received.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions in the accounting system.
  • Oversee the application of cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Support other team members in carrying out organizational goals and activities.

You are persistent and proactive in sharing information with others so they can learn.

  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Identify trends in billing to implement updated procedures and billing practices.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check, including criminal, abuse, and motor vehicle
  • Associates degree or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Must have at least 3-year experience in electronic claims billing and reporting
  • Proven experience (1 year) in accounts receivable management
