Programmer Analyst II

Essential Key Functions and Accountabilities: (Responsibilities and major tasks performed)

• Develop custom reports or queries as needed which pull from business applications (IFS, Oracle, SQL)
• Develop and maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions with our trading partners.
• Provide 1st level end user support for the IFS ERP system and applications to answer questions, research process failures, and modify software where deemed appropriate by the Senior Programmer Analyst
• Serve as the technical liaison with service providers as it relates to applications and application integration.
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures to support the consistent performance of software applications.
• Participate as a technical resource to support the collective Information Technology Team’s efforts to serve the organization’s needs.
• Train or facilitate the efforts that provide users with the knowledge to effectively use the applications to accomplish the software objectives.
• Support the software structure and appropriate documentation that supports subsequent modification and troubleshooting efforts.
• Maintain revision control to ensure publication of the latest revision and the ability to revert to previous versions, should it be necessary.

Experience and Education Required:

2-year degree or equivalent experience
