Mobile Support Team Employment Specialist (Helping Veterans Find Employment)

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists Inc. (VRSI) has a full-time Mobile Support Team Employment Specialist position available in our River Falls WI office. The Mobile Support Team Employment Specialist will work at our River Falls office, and assist our other locations, virtually, as well. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

The Mobile Support Team Employment Specialist is responsible for performing the day-to-day delivery of reintegration services for Veterans who are at risk of losing housing. The Mobile Support Team Employment Specialist will work closely with Veterans virtually to ensure the service reflects the veterans needs, abilities, and employment goals. They will coach, support, and monitor Veterans in the initial stages of employment and maintain relations with employers. The Mobile Support Team Employment Specialist will be supporting our other locations in WI, CA, FL, NE and IA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Case Management
• Source Job Openings
• Securing Employment for Clients
• Case Note Writing
• Resume Writing
• File and Records Management
• Community Outreach with service providers and employers
• Building and maintaining relationships with employers and resources
• Coach and prepare candidates for interviews
• Individual Employment Planning
• Manage social media grant accounts
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed by Leads, Regional Leads, and Program Managers

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Business, Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, or related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in job development, recruiting, or counseling.
• Must work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent writing, counseling, and communication skills.
• Business skills to conduct job searches.
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Work Schedule:
Monday Friday (0800-1630 or 0830-1700)

Hourly Rate:
$20.00 - $24.00 based on experience
