Job Description
Position Overview: The HR Business Partner will be a key piece of the Talent team. The HR Business Partner will work directly with the VP Talent supporting key areas of HR such as recruitment, employee development, performance, and training.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies and projects with business goals.
- Key partner and coach to leadership for identifying and executing individual development plans.
- Proactively partner with the corporate recruiter to ensure proper staffing needs are met and act as a back-up to the corporate recruiter.
- Participate in the selection and hiring process for key roles.
- Proactively partner with the corporate trainer to ensure proper training needs are met and act as a back-up to the corporate trainer.
- Partner with VP Talent to create Vibrant's performance management program.
- Collaborate with Vibrant leaders to execute Vibrant's performance management program.
- Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and compliance with employment laws.
- Act as a trusted advisor to resolve employee relation issues.
- Execute and act as an active supporter of Vibrant's compensation and benefit programs.
- Partner with VP Talent to create Vibrant's performance development program.
- Collaborate with Vibrant leaders to execute Vibrant's development program.
- Assist the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator with FMLA case management as needed.
- Assist the VP Talent with annual policy review and updates.
- Manage Vibrant's HR compliance program such as labor poster management and event launches.
- Conduct weekly data audits to ensure employee profile data is accurate.
- Assist with company audits as needed.
- Compile, trend, and summarize weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HR metrics and data for the VP Talent.
- Lead and/or assist with leading department and organization projects as needed.
- Actively maintain department standard operating procedures.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and implement employee engagement initiatives aligned with the organization's values.

- 10 years + of broad and progressive human resource experience and a strong, strategic talent mind-set
- Proven experience in a strategic business partner role or talent management role is required.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong change management and project management skills.

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
