Job Description
Our Sales Support representative would facilitate a working relationship between customers (B2B and End Users) and the rest of the Airmax team by being a critical contributor in providing excellent customer service and having open communication.

Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include:

  • Assist outside sales team as needed to provide industry leading customer experiences
  • Provide superior customer service to our domestic and international dealers, distributors, pros, and end users via phone and e-mail by placing orders, preparing quotes, communicating expected delivery dates, and troubleshooting products
  • Research warranties and create product returns when necessary
  • Provide status updates on repairs and warranty work to customers
  • Create aeration layouts for dealers and consumers
  • Review metrics to improve and adapt
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally when needed to support customers

You would also be responsible for assisting with other projects/tasks, listed below:

  • Verify MAPP compliance
  • Review web, EDI, SWAG, and SPS commerce orders
  • Coordinate our CAST training sessions
  • Arrange for customer visits (reserve accommodations, book/prep conference rooms, organize meals, etc.)
  • Research and communicate information on backorders
  • Conduct private label maintenance
  • Connect end users with dealers/installers in their area and online
  • Send invoices as needed
  • Research fraudulent orders
  • Other various administrative tasks

Don't know about ponds? That's ok! You'll be trained to be proficient in your job. We utilize an interactive combination of hands-on and visual training to ensure everyone has a full understanding of Airmax's proactive approach to pond management.

Hybrid Position
Our Sales Support role is a full-time/year-round position that is hybrid. It offers time to work both at home and onsite at our headquarters, 15425 Chets Way Armada, MI 48005. When working from home, employees must be able to meet the standards of The Pond Guy's telecommuting policy which include internet speeds and workspace requirements.

Availability
You must be available to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:

  • 2-3 years of sales or customer service experience in B2B realms preferred
  • Technical background is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, knowledge in Salesforce a plus
  • Hands-on mind set with ability to work in an office environment

This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen for typing for long periods of time. In addition, portions of the training require Sales Support to shadow other departments that may require physical activity including lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long periods of time.

We need a Sales Support representative that has a positive attitude and the words "can't" and "impossible" are not a part of your vocabulary. You'll have the ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of information and offer exceptional customer service. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks.

Compensation
This is a full-time hourly position with the base pay of $21 - $25/hour based on experience. Benefits include:
