Job Description for Medical Laboratory Technician in Aberdeen,WA
Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Aberdeen,WA
Job Type: Contract (13weeks)
Shift: Night (09:00PM - 07:30AM)
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests on biological specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Prepare samples for analysis and interpret test results accurately.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain quality control measures.
- Document and report test results to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with medical technologists and other healthcare staff.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician program or equivalent education.
- State licensure or certification as required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems.
