WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Engineering Department,theA&P Mechanicwill assist in any area of Epic Production Flight Test or R&D Flight Test as needed. This includes assisting lead mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks on Epic E1000GXAircraft. This is a great place to get started for new Grad A&P Students or A&P Students looking for an apprenticeship. Opportunities are available for all experience levels. Other expectations may include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by carefully following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
  • Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Remove, clean, inspect, and replace aircraft components following training and written procedures.
  • Report directly to the Production Flight test or R&D Flight Test Manager

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license is required
  • Avionics Experience helpful - training is provided
  • A "can-do"teachable attitude, with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
  • Inspection Authorization is a plus but not required
  • Experience with composite Materials is a plus but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a team
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
  • Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the Future
