Job Description
The Shipping/Planning Team Lead reports to the Contracts Coordinator. The Shipping/Planning Team Lead will work to ensure customer requirements are met when releasing product to the production floor and shipping any item from KMM. Safety of product is paramount and all procedures must be adhered to including but not limited to FOD prevention, method of shipment, packaging and delivery to carrier. The Shipping/Planning Lead's goal is to provide mentoring & leadership to Planning Assistants and Shipping Operators for the Kerrville facility, improve profits & cash flow, and they will have the responsibility to strive to eliminate waste, provide a stable workflow while meeting program schedules and improving processes, and monitor and insure that a quality product is produced through teamwork.
