Our service offerings include system analysis and design, application engineering, custom fabrication and assembly, automation and controls, and equipment service, repair, and remanufacturing.


Summary: Promptly and accurately provides customers, both external and internal, with application assistance, quotations, orders, and bill of materials.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Gather all necessary technical backup information pertaining to the quotation.
  • Prepare quotations based on technical information provided by or extracted from customers, and review the quote, if necessary, with the sales engineer, branch manager, or operations manager before sending it to the customer.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests, whether a quotation request, technical information request, or expedite request.
  • Prepare bills of materials accurately, promptly, and clearly.
  • Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application and keep current on all necessary software used internally.
  • Articulate technology and product information to sales engineers, service personnel, and customers.
  • Provide design and specification support.
  • Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements, and always be courteous and professional with customers and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence.
  • Help sales engineers with quotes.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.



Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university; or 2-4 years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office Software (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook), and internet software.
