Outside Sales Position

Looking for a professional, business to business sales career with a stable company? We are looking for the right person to join this 45-year-old, family-owned and operated wholesale lumber and building products distribution company as an Outside Sales Representative based out of our Lincoln NE branch, calling on customers in parts of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.

If you want to be part of a team that is a regional leader in its industry and have 2 or more years of wholesale building materials or 4 or more years of retail sales experience, then this is your opportunity.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of wholesale or 4+ years of retail lumber and/or building materials sales experience required – previous traveling sales experience preferred. Due to the territory, the ideal candidate will live in the Lincoln/Omaha area.

· Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and DMSI’s Agility OS is a plus, but not required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must + the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and to close sales.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team with the drive to meet/exceed goals.

Education

· 2-4 Year College or Tech School Degree and construction experience are plusses.

Compensation

* Salary Plus Commission, 401K, Vision and Dental Insurance, Paid Vacation Paid Holiday and Sick Leave.
