JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Review current environment for existing data challenges, on-prem data infrastructure and flow, and application architecture.
  2. Lead the development of an enterprise data strategy; and design and implement cloud data architectures.
  3. Assist with tool and technology selection that meets the requirement
  4. Define the implementation roadmap and support with any infrastructure planning
  5. Design and develop an ingestion framework that supports real-time streaming and/or batch.
  6. Develop technical design documents, validate test scripts and cases, coordinate the implementation of the same into production and related support activities
Requirements
  • Deep technical passion for all things data
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant hands-on experience in Enterprise Data Management and cloud technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of ETL, BI and Data warehousing tools and technologies
  • Strong experience with data systems and infrastructure on Azure and/or AWS
  • Solid knowledge and implementation experience with data Integration techniques
  • Good understanding of Stream Processing architecture
  • Familiarity leveraging visualization tools to present information in a way that drives fact-based decision making (such as Power BI)
  • Perform data analysis to support strategic initiatives and clearly communicate and present insights to leadership.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team for requirements, improvements and enhancements that support various data and analytics needs
  • Unafraid to try new technologies, arbitrate complex technical discussions, and make challenging decisions.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present ideas to both technical and business audiences.
  • A self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity and builds trusted relationships. Has a “can do” attitude and entrepreneurial resourcefulness in getting things done in a fast-paced environment.
