Project Manager - Commercial GC

Highly reputable Commercial GC specializing in Design Build and Construction Management seeks to hire an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team! Company is located in Macon, Ga. and works on projects including education, healthcare, municipal, hospitality, retail, and specialty markets. RESPONSIBILITIES...

• Project management experience in related projects
• Proficiency in all construction project management responsibilities and functions
• Ability to lead, direct, and train Assistant PM's
• Ability to analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Preparation of Financial Forecasts
• Preparation of Schedules
• Ensure adherence to Schedules
• Manage Request for Information (RFI) process
• Manage Submittal process
• Prepare Job Meeting agendas
• Approve Pay Applications/Invoices from Subcontractors
• Review Pay Applications to Owners
• Review drawing changes to determine impact on schedule and/or job cost
• Approve Owner and Subcontractor Change Requests and Change Orders
• Provide prompt responses to all team members
• Maintain quality control throughout projects
• Determine timing of Punch List walk-throughs
• Negotiate Subcontractor buyout opportunities
• Bid new projects as assigned
• Organize and facilitate OAC meetings

QUALIFICATIONS...

• Prior project management experience required
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Cost projections and budgeting
• Effectively communicate with clients, management and subcontractors
• Detail-oriented
• Sound judgment
• Strong work ethic and goal-oriented
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office and MS Project, and Procore
