Job Description
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
• Assist with various accounting functions as needed, including balance sheet reconciliations and special projects.
• Will be assisting with accounting department audits and peak season tasks as needed.
• Accounts Payable: Process and mail vendor checks weekly.
• File all payment documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable aging.
• Accounts Receivable: Apply customer payments from various sources (checks, credit cards, ACHs, wire payments).
Job Requirements :
Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year accounting experience
• Typing speed exceeding 40 WPM
• Attention to detail
• Strong clerical, analytical and organization skills
• QuickBooks
