Position: Production Worker / Laborer

Full time, 40 – 50 hours a week | Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 4 PM, Saturdays as required for production.

$15.00 / hour to start, no top out pay!  Management is looking for dependable, hard workers so you WILL get a raise based on performance!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Band incoming bundles with banders, crimpers, and cutters

· Hammer plates into crossties before they go into the plating machine

· Spray paint identifiers on bundles to keep track of inventory

· Flip ties over to ensure the quality of ties

· Place sticks between layers before stacking so that adequate solution gets into bundles

· Placement of cross-outs on bundles so that forklifts can stack bundles on the yard

REQUIREMENTS:

· A background in production is a plus

· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

· Enjoys working outside in all weather conditions / Perform in outside elements

· Be able to multi-task effectively

· Have a good understanding of production

· Be at work, on time, every day

· Work well with colleagues

· Participate in continuous improvement efforts as well as keeping the area safe & clean

· Confirm the quality of crossties before shipment to customers

· Keep up with production schedules / goals
