Private Resident, independent quadriplegic, seeking minimal day to day care. Resident can lead his own life, but requires a little help around the home and maintaining it. Resident has separate care provided in the AM and does not need help from Candidate, but requires daily help with dinner preparation and minimal bed routine preparation. Resident can drive independently to/from work, but would require help with errands and groceries weekly. This position would be a great opportunity for, but not limited to, Candidates who are in nursing school and/or professionals who work from home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Ideally, Resident is looking for a Candidate who enjoys cooking healthy meals, will maintain the Resident's clean home, and will provide high quality patient care.

Requirements:

*Reliable, good communication

*Confidentiality, integrity

*An interest in cooking preferred

*Personal transportation preferred

*Prior personal care experience preferred, but not required

*Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not required

Benefits:

Schedule:

*Candidate independence prior to 4p

*Evening dinner ~4p-6p, eat together preferably

*Candidate independence between dinner and bed

*Bed routine preparation ~10p-11p

*Daily tasks (housekeeping, errands) can be completed by Candidate at any point in the day

*Live-in overnight preferred

*Weekdays and weekends, flexible

*Up to 3 positions available for shared responsibilities

*Good for, but not limited to, Candidates who have job/school during the day

*Good for, but not limited to, Candidates who work from home

*Trial period to make sure it's a good fit for Candidate and Resident

*Orientation and training
