Job Description
FTS is seeking a couple of Concession stand worker / Guest Shop. Responsible for serving food and non-alcoholic beverages. Expected to greet guests and provide a positive customer service experience.
Hours: 930am-530pm, days and weekends, holidays. 15 to 35 hours average weekly, Pay $12.
Essential Job Duties are but not limited to:
● Set up and prepare snack shop/concession for daily opening and/or properly shut down snack shop/concession at business close.
● Assist guests in food and beverage selection by describing menu changes, answering food preparation questions, taking orders, and upselling where possible.
● Prepare and serve food and drinks as ordered.
● Provide guests with efficient food service by maintaining food displays, clean counters, dishes, trays, food, and equipment.
● Cashier; calculate totals, opening and closing daily of cash till.
● Maintain and stock food and disposables inventory including cutlery, plates, napkins, etc.
● Provide friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to all guests.
● Take out trash daily.
● Address customer complaints satisfactorily.
● Serving customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
● Complying with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures
● Conduct on-the-job training to ensure subordinate staff can perform their duties effectively.
● May be asked to work outside of the assigned schedule for necessary job duties.
Requirements:
Education:
● High School Diploma/GED preferred.
● Ability to read and write.
Experience:
● Six (6) months of food service experience preferred.
● Food handlers permit within 6 months of hire.
● Computer skills are necessary.
● Ability to count money and work cash register.
● Timekeeping equipment
● Ability to learn or have knowledge of standards health and regulations as they apply to food preparation and service.
Physical Abilities:
● Requires occasional, lifting, caring, pushing, and pulling of up to 30 lbs.
● Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
● Standing or walking some of the time, reaching overhead
● May involve exposure to extreme heat and cold.
● Must be able to properly lift heavy items from a stooping position.
● Requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing and speaking abilities, color perception, depth perception and texture perception.
