Front Office Medical Receptionist

MEDICAL RECEPIONIST IN LA JOLLA!!

Experience in medical billing and claims highly preferred!

Description:

- Basic day would be office administrator, verifying eligibility and benefits, calling patients, scheduling, checking in and out, cash collections, taking co insurance and deductibles, any authorizations.

- Tasks within system and keeping them organized, call referrals and claims that they can get corrected. Answering calls throughout the day while taking care of patients walking in.

Must be able to handle high-stress and multi-task to keep things under control.

Average patients seen is 20-25 per day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of two years – work experience – medical experience,

- Sometimes starting fresh will be fine. May be open to looking at new candidates if they are really go getting.

- High School Diploma/GED

- High level customer service, good keyboarding skills,

- Preferred knowledge of payors, insurance verification, knowledge of compliance rules with medicare and medi-Cal

- Preferred Knowledge of Nexgen
