Payload Operations Senior Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Payload Operations Senior Manager for our client here in the greater Albuquerque area. This full-time direct hire position is fully on-site.

The Payload Director will supervise the engineering team integrating payloads onto high-altitude platform system. The role will require excellent leadership and organizational skills, and experience with cellular telecommunication network systems. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience designing communication systems and at least 5 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise small engineering team

· Integrate payloads for stratospheric operation

· Conduct engineering reviews

· Manage suppliers

· Act as a liaison for external customers

· Ensure team meets deliverables on schedule

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure designs and testing meets specifications

· Train and coach staff

Qualifications:

· Engineering or related field Bachelor’s degree required

· 5+ years of engineering experience, particularly with cellular telecommunications

· Excellent attention to detail

· Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills

· Must have prior experience with telecommunication network simulations and designing communication systems

· Satellite/Aerospace industry experience preferred

The anticipated salary for this position is between $150,000 and $185,000 based on a written compensation plan.

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $185,000.00 per year
