2024-2025 Occupational Therapist Needed in Lake Havasu City, AZ

Blazerjobs iscurrently seeking an OT to join our team in Lake Havasu City, AZ, serving a diverse student population from PreK to 12th grade.

Position Overview:
As a School Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within the school district. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact by providing consulting and testing services to students across various grade levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and eligibility for occupational therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs and promote skill development.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as needed, including consultation with teachers and parents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic success and overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ply with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

• Active OTlicense or certification in the state of Arizona.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with the ability to develop effective intervention plans.
• Dedication to promoting the well-being and academic success of students.
