Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with an elementary school student in New Hampshire. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours, offering competitive pay. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing behavioral intervention plans and providing support to the student in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the assigned elementary school student on a 1:1 basis, implementing behavioral intervention strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized behavior plans, collecting data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide support during classroom activities, ensuring the student's needs are met and behavioral goals are addressed.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure consistency and continuity of support.
- Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress, and any incidents, adhering to confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children in a behavioral support capacity is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior management principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the student and educational environment.
- State licensure in New Hampshire is required.
