Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our clients in the veterinary industry to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a direct hire opportunity in Jupiter, FL. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and will support the overall financial health of the organization.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

 

Responsibilities:

· Oversight of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

· Month-end close activities (posting journal entries, reconciliations)

· Assisting with financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.

· Provide support during the annual audit process.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years accounting experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· The ideal candidate will have experience with ledgers and variances

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
