Job Title: Paraprofessional Teacher - 7th Grade Autism Support

Start Date: Immediate

Hours per Week: 30
Location: Middle School, State: California

Caseload/Job Details:

• Working with a 7th-grade student with moderate autism
• Providing 1:1 support and assistance
• Assisting with educational and behavioral needs

Responsibilities:

• Implementing individualized educational plans
• Supporting the student in academic and social settings
• Assisting with communication, organization, and daily tasks
• Collaborating with the special education team and classroom teachers

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with students with autism preferred
• Certification as a Paraeducator, RBT, CNA, or LPN
• Ability to provide support in a middle school environment
• Understanding of behavioral management techniques

Additional Details:

• The district will provide supervision and training
• Competitive starting pay at $26 per hour
• Guaranteed hours for the duration of the contract
• State licenses required
