In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with communication disorders across the lifespan. You will provide comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for children and adults.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to improve communication skills in areas such as articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including educators, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited university program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- California state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for a variety of communication disorders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client-centered care.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
