Junior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers, strong analytical skills, and a desire to learn and grow within our organization. As a Junior Accountant, you will support various accounting functions and assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position is Direct Hire and will pay between $45K and $55K annually.

This employer offers PTO, 401K, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare property tax returns, US Census reports and other jurisdictional reporting as prescribed by jurisdictions and accounting calendar.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities.
• Support senior accountants and financial managers with various projects and tasks.
• Adhere to accounting principles and company procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience or internships in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
