Job Title: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a West Valley, NYschool that isactively seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the 2023/2024 school year. Job Description:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a pivotal role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges. Our SLPs assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, working closely with educators, parents, and students to enhance communication skills. If you have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and a passion for creating positive learning environments, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address communication challenges effectively.
• Provide one-on-one and group speech and language therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to support students' progress.
• Monitor, document, and adjust therapy plans based on students' progress.
• Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid NY state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
