Occupational Therapist (OT)

Duration: August 28th - June 15th (24/25 School Year)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Brady, WA, for the uping school year. This part-time position will run from August 28th to June 15th, providing essential occupational therapy services to students aged 3 to 21 across four schools.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to approximately 30 students aged 3 to 21 who qualify for OT services.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' individualized goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and service delivery in pliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to address a variety of sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Knowledge of IDEA regulations and best practices in special education.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with students across a range of ages and abilities.

Hours: 18 hours per week, distributed across four schools serving Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and High School students.
