UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist Associate to join our team!
Location:224 Twin Lakes Road Somerset, PA 15501
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 (depending on years of commitment)
Pay Scale: $18.54 - $30.28 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Mental Health Provider/Supervisor to define role scope and interventions.
- Engage and assess clients, addressing barriers to engagement.
- Promote consumer self-management using recovery principles.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans with the team.
- Update plans based on patient needs and guidelines.
- Ensure timely documentation and service authorization.
- Provide therapy and education, involving families when necessary.
- Review cases and coordinate with the team on patient needs.
- Ensure continuity of care with community supports.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
- Adhere to system-wide competencies.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Certification: BLS
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field or related internship
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week. Hours vary, rotating weekends.
